In this additional course we will take a closer look at the secrets of functional anatomy. We will also focus on the understanding of perfect health that forms a basis of yoga.

We will get acquainted with wide therapeutic possibilities of yoga and try out various practical approaches to heal ourselves and others.

We will also examine what can go wrong while practicing yoga and how we can safely heal ourselves from those injuries.

Laurier-Pierre Desjardins is an inspiring person and teacher. His teaching method is vivid and interactive, combined with many exciting examples and exercises that illustrate his own personal experience. 

Course is designed for yoga teachers and practitioners, who have taken an introductory course Functional Anatomy of Prâna, the Healing Power of Kriya Hatha Yoga I.

About the instructor:

Laurier-Pierre Desjardins is a yogi and renowned Doctor of Osteopathy. He has been practicing traditional yoga since 1975. His main influence in his practice is the Tantric aspect to the yoga tradition, which constitutes a complete way of living based on recognizing the sacred in all.

In the last 20 years, Pierre has specialized in teaching Functional Anatomy for bodywork students and osteopathy students in Canada, France and Germany. Some years ago he started to teach his unique anatomy concepts also in the yoga world and is now a renowned instructor in teacher trainings or advanced trainings all over United States and Canada.

He has completed a PhD in Health Education at Université de Montréal and published the book "Principles of Yoga Therapy" in 2014.
