Yoga master class: Yogic sleep: practices for a good rest, guided by Dr. Helena Lass

The quality of sleep forms one of the pillars for good health. In the master class guided by Dr. Helena Lass you will learn to relax both your body and mind, and you will learn how to quickly recharge yourself. For this purpose, yoga nidra or a technique of yogic relaxation is acquired. According to studies, brainwaves characteristic of deep dreamless sleep have been registered during the practice, claiming 15 minutes of yoga nidra to be equal to 1 hour of regular sleep.

As a student of Ingvar Villido Ishwarananda, Helena Lass has been practicing kriya yoga and AoCC, the foundational teachings at Lilleoru, for over 10 years. A psychiatrist by profession, Helena teaches AoCC I-II courses with a focus on mental wellness and health. Helena has spoken at many conferences and published numerous articles on mental wellness in magazines accross the globe. In 2018, her scientific paper on future perspectives in mental health was published in the book by world’s leading scientific publishing house Routledge.
