Join us for a warm and hands-on journey into traditional Indian vegetarian cooking.
Together with Rajee, you’ll discover how spices, fresh ingredients and simple techniques come together to create the rich aromas and flavours of Indian home food.
We’ll begin with an introduction to essential Indian spices — including cumin, mustard seeds, turmeric, coriander, Kashmiri chilli, black pepper, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and garam masala. You’ll learn how they are traditionally used and combined, and how fresh ginger, garlic, green chilli and coriander bring dishes to life.
At the end of the workshop, we’ll sit down together and enjoy the delicious vegetarian lunch we have prepared.
“I have been a vegetarian all my life and have always had a deep love for good food.
I especially love traditional Indian recipes — the kind of food inspired by grandmothers, passed down through generations and prepared with patience, intuition and love.
For me, cooking is about creating food that is balanced, nourishing and wholesome, but also soulful. Through my workshops, I hope to share a medley of Indian vegetarian dishes that will fill your home with beautiful aromas, your table with colour and flavour, and bring a little of the warmth of Indian home cooking into your kitchen.”
