When asked what makes us happy, many people say: “When everything in my life is fine,” “when I get what I want,” or “when someone loves me.”
But perhaps you’ve noticed that even when everything seems fine, the feeling doesn’t last long. Something always feels missing.
According to the yogis, true happiness is something entirely different.
Like the sun behind the clouds – it never disappears; it’s just that our thoughts and worries cover it up.
Sometimes, when something unexpected happens – for example, you see something incredibly beautiful in nature or hear good news – there’s a brief moment when everything stops.
In that stillness, there is clarity and lightness. That moment itself is true happiness.
It cannot be forced or created by thinking – it simply is.
When you begin to notice that happiness doesn’t depend on external things but lives within you, life slowly begins to change.
Worries don’t disappear instantly, but they no longer dim the light that has always been there.
On this dark November evening, we will explore how to reconnect with that inner light – and how to be happy for no reason.
