NEWS: The Truth Remains Unchanging, Despite Passing Shadows

Lilleoru Yoga Center is rooted in internationally recognized yoga traditions, offering a deep connection to ancient teachings centered on awareness and the discovery of the inner world.

Located in Harjumaa, Estonia, the international yoga center of Lilleoru invites seekers to learn, practice, and deepen their understanding of yogic knowledge. At the heart of the center stands the Shiva Temple, inaugurated in the summer of 2024—a space of silence and presence that symbolizes Lilleoru’s dedication to spiritual growth and awareness. It is the largest temple of its kind in Europe and has gained significant international attention, particularly in India.

Every day, much good is born in Lilleoru: people experience how developing awareness leads to greater inner peace, clarity, and contentment. This supports personal balance, a deeper sense of self, and a conscious commitment to inner development.

However, not every day is without challenges. Sometimes tensions arise in human relationships that cannot be avoided or quickly resolved. At times, these tensions reach the public and deepen further. One such unfortunate incident occurred in the autumn of 2023, when the media published claims about Lilleoru that were untrue, and we had no opportunity to defend ourselves.

Amongst others, the article titled “Demonic Force Has Taken Over the Avengers“, published by Eesti Päevaleht on September 22, 2023, was found by the Estonian Press Council to contain serious violations. The Council confirmed that the newspaper had breached good journalistic practice by not granting Ingvar Villido the right to respond.

The article’s accusatory tone and expressions such as “public hangings,” “manipulations,” “maniacal traits,” and “threats” were not only misleading but, in the opinion of the vast majority of people who have visited or are connected with Lilleoru, entirely inappropriate. These claims were false and damaged the reputation of both Ingvar Villido and the Lilleoru Yoga Center.

Nevertheless, we chose to reach a legal settlement with Eesti Päevaleht in order to move forward and focus on what we consider truly important—our mission as a dignified, sacred, and service-oriented yoga center. As part of the settlement, a counterstatement was published clarifying that the article’s claims were false and harmed the center’s reputation. The response also emphasized that Lilleoru is open to all, integrated into society, and does not operate for profit. The court has now officially approved the settlement. We consider the dispute resolved and peace restored.

Based on the experiences of thousands of people, we can confidently state that Ingvar Villido’s knowledge is the result of years of dedicated practice, commitment, and initiations received from international masters.

The teachings at Lilleoru Yoga Center are based on authentic knowledge and ancient traditions, focusing on exploring the inner world and developing awareness. All the practices followed at Lilleoru are internationally recognized, respected, and approved.

Lilleoru Yoga Center is an open learning environment that regularly hosts courses, practical sessions, initiations, and retreats. Here, people can practice mastery of attention, inner stillness, and conscious action—principles that are also symbolized by the Shiva Temple. Participation is possible both on-site in Lilleoru and online, making the ancient teachings accessible regardless of physical location.

The Shiva Temple is always open—both for visits and for deeper practice—regardless of one’s religious or cultural background. Visitors describe Lilleoru as a place where peace arises and where one can reconnect with oneself.

Hundreds of people from Estonia and abroad have discovered valuable knowledge and life skills through Lilleoru.
