An elementary school has been operating in Lilleoru since 2018 founded on the initiative of parents who had completed the Practical Consciousness courses. In addition to the regular curriculum, children here learn how to apply their attention and concentration, cope with their emotions and grow into an independent intelligent person. Learning is based on children’s innate curiosity and supported by the peaceful natural surroundings.
Our school has small classes, a large and diverse yard area with its own woodland, adventure park and garden. We exercise a lot and do yoga-based exercises on a daily basis to develop physical flexibility and endurance. Healthy lunch from mostly organic ingredients is prepared on site.
Most children come to school from the capital city and the neighboring municipalities, and interest in our school is growing every year. Under the leadership of the parents, we are starting the construction of a new large 9-grade school building. The education system in the world is in dire need of a change and we wish to contribute to it with the unique experience of our school.
