The Summer Retreat on Concentration and Awareness is a week-long Siddha Yoga retreat held in the peaceful and sacred environment of Lilleoru. Through the practical methods of Siddha Yoga, we will explore the nature of attention, concentration, and awareness, and discover how to experience greater inner silence, presence, and clarity amidst everyday life.

Throughout the week, we will move step by step toward a deeper experience of presence. We will explore how attention actually functions, what interrupts concentration, and how inner peace and clarity can naturally emerge. The teaching is based on direct experience, practical exercises, and shared inquiry.

The retreat is guided by Ingvar Villido Ishwaranand.

The retreat is conducted in Estonian, with simultaneous translation into English. Each year, students from different countries join the retreat.

Retreat Program

Each day has its own theme and practical focus.

Day 1 – Silence Cannot Be Created
We explore whether silence may already be present, even when thoughts are moving, the body is active, and the day is unfolding.

Day 2 – Attention Cannot Be Forced
We explore how attention actually moves.

Day 3 – Interruption
We explore the moment when concentration is interrupted.

Day 4 – One Remains
We explore whether it is possible to experience a moment in which concentration remains by itself.

Day 5 – Silence Is Alive
We explore whether silence can be an active presence that does not require movement in order to be alive.

Day 6 – Clarity Does Not Require Thinking
We explore whether clarity can arise without thinking.

Day 7 – It Is Already Here
We explore whether there is actually anything that needs to be taken away from this retreat, or whether it is already present within you.
