16th lecture in the “Ishwarananda’s Path of Wisdom” series
Your true self was born humane, whereas modern humanism is not natural any more but can be rather described as a set of experiences that refer to humanity indirectly. Why is that? Because you have not discovered the secret, who you really are, who is the one having the experience. This reality has become so completely forgotten in the society, that it is not only excluded from discussions, but the question does not even arise.
This is actually the root of all problems – the forgotten inherent humanity has been substituted by memories of all kinds of experiences.. The fight in the world is not happening for humaneness but between different experiences.
“The world is in need of a completely new teaching that would recreate humanity, as the things in the world cannot change before people themselves change.”
In the April lecture we observe humanism closely – what is it, how to discover, who I really am and how everyone can contribute to the growth of humanism in the world. It depends on each and every individual what kind of world we are living in.
In his “Path of Wisdom” lecture series Ingvar, who has walked the path of siddha-yoga for over 30 years, shares the deeper knowledge discovered on this path with a wider audience in a practical and simple manner characteristic to him. He shows how to integrate the supposedly obscure spiritual knowledge into everyday life and how to discover one’s actual possibilities and potential. Human path is the path of practical wisdom, he says.
Lecture is in Estonian, with translations into English, German, Russian and Finnish.
Recording of the lecture will be available soon.
