Ingvar Villido Ishwarananda: “Is it possible to communicate with the forces of nature?”

“When we speak about the forces of nature, we are literally speaking about universal forces that are also at work within ourselves. What is inside is also outside, just as what is above is also below.”

There is a lot of talk about living in harmony with nature, and taking natural laws and rhythms in consideration in everyday life – but how to do it practically? How to understand nature, creation, the universal forces and therefore the entire universe?

Ancient science could not have been possible without contact with natural forces and therefore it must have been known how to establish contact with and draw knowledge from them. The ancient sages, siddhas and yogis studied the laws of life in depth and how to live in harmony with them. They all draw our attention to and emphasize a common characteristic, the sentience, or aliveness of everything that exists. Why has our contact with the aliveness of nature become so weak?

In the May “Path of Knowledge” session we will continue our practical investigation of hidden knowledge. We will clarify what the forces of nature are. Why are they depicted in ancient traditions as different idols, murthis? What are yantras and mantras and what is their practical purpose? Why is it said that contact with the forces of nature happens in silence? What kind of abilities can each and everyone of us cultivate and apply to experience the touch of a force of nature?

“Prayers work wonders because prayers are answered.” Ishwarananda
